early season riding

i realize im gettin ready to fast, but i was just wondering how early you guys in southeast idaho start riding and where. im already trying to pack my weekends full of rides!

McCall and trins but not until the last few weeks in nov.
and yes i will trail ride (just early season unlike some)(need to break in a new motor yet again) so all you sw ho'z leter fly.

The first good non trail ride will be december 15

First "trail/shakedown/break-in/watch MOCO fiddle with his sled ride will be 11/11/09. First "real" ride on 12/6/09, MOCO will NOT be towed out, Fred will cook a belt ON THE TRAIL, James will laugh and I will NOT pile it up into the trees. Zipper will STILL be wishing that his sled was back together. That is my prediction.

What is the wager? I'll put in a few bucks for a pool. Anyone else?

we go out every year first or second weekend in october... obviously just a trail ride for there has only been 10"-2ft the last few years... but we've made it a tradition and this will be the 4th year

In years gone by if i get the first ride by late October , it is going to be a good year. Sounds like i might need to plan a road trip to McCall , if i am waiting on IP.

Um...S.E. Idaho, I am usually trying for mid November up Emmigrant between Preston and Montpelier. Possibly earlier if there is a freak storm. Last year I didn't make it out until the Saturday before Christmas, but that was up Inman.
