eagle vs goat

From the language in the background, I would say it was one of the other goats.

Thats some of the funniest chit right there. Morning laugh for sure.

Seen a baldy eagle snap on to a fish in the Skeena river last year. Only problem was it was like 30-40 lb spring and it was ready to take the bird for the ride of its life. Watched this fish drag the eagle where ever the hell it wanted too. Upstream, downstream, under water the full meal deal. We brought our lines in figuring this Eagle was a gonner and we wanted to claim it. After nearly 20 mins of fight the eagle managed to flap enough to pull the fish up onto a sand bar. We went to check out the fish and as big as it was it had suffered a huge amount of damage from the Eagles talons, I was shocked. Truly awesome site. Ain't never going to catch me ***gin around with one!! Read somewhere that once these birds clasp their talons onto something it takes them a few moments to retract their claws again.

To "Claim" your eagle would only cost you $5,000 and one year....

Not true my friend. It would have died due to natural causes, it would be a case of finding. I have found a deceased great horned owl and was able to keep it about 2 years ago, at the time it was an endangered bird. Spoke to the local DFO and conservation officer and they confirmed. It would have been a pain to display and transport it due to laws. I was with a local guide and a former conservation officer, it was well discussed between the group.
Non the less it was soo awesome to see the fight and the fish win!!!:beer; They are a pretty cool animal in action
