How in the heck are you running 14.8 psi one 75% premium at sea level.
Premium is very different over there than it is here if I recall.
Still pretty unreal at those altitudes though.

he is using custom low compression head.
i think it is right answer for using hi boost at sea level.
I am running '09 at 4000ft 8psi on straight 91 octane and i easy can make my boost higher.

I think it is not true.
Premium octane in europe and russia is 98RON
91 octane in USA is MON.
I think it is same.

Reworked 08 head and a very good tuning by one of the best 2-stroke guy in Norway ,RMS Racing...No problem doing 25sec+ WOT at this boost...
Our 98oct premium gas should be about your 91...
Tell me, isn't there anyone other that has dynoed their sled??? Are folks just assuming they have 200+ hp on pumpgas?

I don't know anyone around here that has ever had there sled on a dyno.
I would have to assume there is some kind on timing control or tps adjustment going to do this.
What year of sled is it and does it have a cooler.
My sled is a 08 M8. No timing controll, no timing key.. Has the BD intercooler with fan, upgrading to cf1000 coolant cooler for next season.

Yes indeed Gus, Robin (RMS) is a very good friend of mine and my personal BD box toucher..lol..
This is my deep snow alround sled and the boost we did dynoed it with is the same as on the mountain...
But much want more, maybe 925 and a 2871 will be the ticket...
I have dynoed my 900efi cat with Lindermans turbo porting and welded crank with the big 66 aero at 11.5psi made 230hp and 148ft/lbs at around 8250 rpm and that was at Neils NPP. I find most say what they have for hp but few have proven it or spent the money to do it. Next project is a Linderman 995 same motor work but going to the gtx3071r in same zx chassis should be WAY more.

I could personally couldnt care less what the number is. As long as it hauls *** on the hill Im happy. Mybe its 190 maybe its 240, as long as it puts a **** eating grin on my face at the end of the day then thats all I need. I dont ride my dyno sheet around all day LOL.

You use the dyno to see what you got and if you can get more. Being able to test and tune in a shop is way better then doing it on the mountain I know from lots of experience. It's hard to tell any gains on the mountain too. So you might be doing something to your sled that is a waste of money and actually losing HP/ throttle response which is going to hurt you in many situations. Not so much free ride but racing like RMSHA or your buddy which who most of us are trying to beat!
Ya,, but its sure is fun to see the so called competition get their egos squashed when they only produce half of what they thought the BUTT dyno was telling them..LOL

I just got back from the dyno, pretty impressed with the results...
I'm really happy to have something on paper finally! That's about what it felt like, though.

...Its way to many that thinks they have 200hp. On this non HO 800 engine we needet 10psi boost to produce 200hp. The pump gas kit with only stock injectors we could only run 5psi boost
But its for sure the most fun sled I have been riding...Runns strong and incredible good handling in the powder/ mountains.
When are we gone here more from you about the 1700 4pot turbo?
Have been looking at DTR often now...
