DJ clutch kit not complicated to work with.
Installing D J'S clutch kit is one of the best improvements you can make on your sled,it comes with instuctions that will give you a starting point for the weight you will be installing a very simple install,if your weights are to heavy and you cannot hold rpm take weight out if you are over reving add more weight the kit comes with weights and a chart that will tell you how much each weight weighs,if i can recall each gram of weight changes your rpm.by 200.Once you find the correct weight you like to run tou will be more than pleased that you installed this kit.

what comes with the kit is it worth it to get different arms, or just this kit and its good to go

Joe knows clutching. Good products and followup after the sale. As far as needing arms or anything else for that matter give him a call and he'll set you on the right track.
I installed his kit on my 05 800 and it really made a difference. I set it up with his recommendation and nailed it first time. I highly recommend the kit. It is a much cheaper way to use the horse power you have. Engine mods will get you more ponies but it does not do any good unless you get those ponies to the track.
does he have a kit ready for the 08 xp's ??
I put mine in last January. I bet he has them on the shelf ready to go. Give him a call.
i have that kit..never used! trying to get a hold of him so i could just swap it for my newly purchased 06! cant seem to get a hold of him..working out of town i think!

The best way to get a hold of him is just call. He's a hard guy to get a hold of, but when you do, he'll talk you into buying his kit. Awesome guy, and very knowledgable about Doo clutches. The back shift on this kit is wickid. He probably has severel thousand e-mails, and it's not easy trying to go through all of them, and answer them. Just keep calling until you get through. You won't be disapointed!
the prices ont he website are 320 for the 800kit i think.. 53 bucks to ship to ak.. hope its worth 400 bucks! guess ill be finding out soon
You need a clutch puller to get the secondary off. It's kind of a PIA. I just took mine to my dealer, and paid him $20 to put it in. I didn't feel like buying all the tools since I had an feeling I wouldn't be going back to the stock helix. They were doing my handwarmers at the same time, so I didn't pay too much attention to detail.
