Duluth 2009

I'll hopefully be there as a fan, depends on what the weather is like due to fall field work @ home on the farm. We used to go every year but I haven't made it up there since 2003-2004. I really miss it, Duluth is a great place to visit and an even better venue to host a snocross event

Hibbert cleaning house with Polaris riders finishing close behind. Ski Doo riders will be sucking everyones roost as I just dont see the RS being competitive yet. BTW I ride Ski Doo LOL.

who ever gets to go can you take some pic's, im over in Iraq right now and this is the second yr I can't watch the races, so some pictures would be awesome!!!

Thanks for serving our country Casey! Hows the old sled running? I'm gonna try to make it up there to watch sunday races but it will depend on if the weather is good enough to fly VFR or not. Helping put on a supercross race fri and sat night down in SD. I think tucker will show strong, being in mx shape its just getting enough time on the sleds. It will be interesting to see who the up and comers are this year. Will be a big change without Blair on the track, even though he hasnt been racing for 1st or 2nd last season, its going to be an odd feeling not seeing him out there.

hey thanks Zach, my bro sold the 04. Kinda pissed me off!!! But ya some pic's would be nice, thanks for the support!!!

Hey what happened to Dylan Martin this year. Don't see him listed on Judnicks team. I think he sure would of been a force to reckon with in semi-pro if he was still with Judnicks. U know the sled makes a huge difference in this sport.

Dylan was let go by Judnick this summer. Didn't provide the results is what I was told.

Mike Bauer #717 is now on board with Jundick.

Talking to the Semi-Pro racer I support, Chase Rosemeyer, and ISOC changed up the qualifying process quite a bit. Things will be run like X Games is.

Example he gave was:
For 50 racers there will be 5 heats of 10 riders
Top 2 finishers go directly to the final
Other 40 racers go to one of 4 LCQ's
Each winner of LCQ makes the final for a total of 14

Only get 2 rounds of racing guaranteed? At least with WPSA you got at least 3 heats and possibly the LCQ plus final.

Sounds like ISOC is going to be less track time and that was the biggest complaint I heard when we ran WPSA, we want more track time.

Cross country is sounding even more appealing to hardcore racers that want seat time!

I've been listening to the live audio feed and watching the live timing from duluth this morning. It looks like they are running way more laps than in seasons past, even in the sport and juniors classes.

I wonder how many laps the pros and semi pros will run for their qualifying rounds? I guess we'll find out tomorrow.

Well crapp I must be blind.:) Thanx I'll look better tomorrow. What do you think of the new race format? Less motos and more laps it seemed to go a lot faster today.

30 lap pro finals! Wow, that's a lot more like moto. I bet the super fit guys like tucker, levi, and tj gulla are loving the long races. not sure if they'll be too stoked about doing all of their qualifying and 2 30 lap finals in 1 day at the rest of the races though. I guess it will be better since if you place well enough you'll only have to run 1 qualifier and the final.

I thought I read somewhere that at the rest of the nationals pro stock and open would all be run on saturday.

Anyone know how long the semi pro finals are at Duluth?

i was there. i saw the slednecks freestyle show and was greatly disappointed. they only had two ramps. they threw down some supermans and indian airs. then rogers threw down some backflips. then crashed and dislocated his shoulder. he was the only one to flip. i was hoping to see some flip variations or something new. but i got in for free, but if i paid for that i would of been pissed,

30 lap finals wow, your right driftjumper! The guys who didn't bust their asses in the off season will really be kicking themselves now.

Tucker proves once again that he is the MAN!

Really missing the 7C out there. :(
