is anybody using timbersleds drop brackets on stock nytro. does it help with trenching. how much of a drop are using. does it change the handling

Timbersled has a specific drop bracket just for the Nytro with stock tunnel. It has the same drop as stock. Just weighs a ton less. If you use them with the stock suspension all you're going to do is lose a little weight. Combine them with the Mt. Tamer suspension & you have a great combo & a big weight loss

got them on mine, WELL worth it!!!! installed same time as the skid though...so cant tell you specifically what it does other than save weight!!!!

According to the Timbersled website the sled will sit 2" higher in the back. I haven't installed mine yet, so I don't know if that is because of the drop brackets alone, the suspension arms, or a combination of the two.

I think the brackets set it to stock height, but clearly the suspension doesnt let it sag at all...so in the pic you can see how high mine sits...

The Timbersled Drop Brackets locate the suspension in exactly the same place as the stock brackets. They are 8 pounds lighter than stock.
