Driggs Area Riders

From what I understand it's very hard to ride anywhere in the Driggs area. Most of it is protected under the Wilderness program, and they patrol it by air and land quite regularly. If you head towards Driggs/Victor from Rexburg a few miles before the highway turns south to head into Tetonia there's a turn that heads north towards Ashton. If you take this highway you'll come to a small town called Felt, and you'll see a turn called Peanuckle loop (not sure if I spelled that right). There is a parking area here and a decent trail system. They usually don't have as much snow as Targhee, but this would be the best bet in the area I would think.

Check out my post with photos for the Blind Bull area south of Alpine up the Grays River road. Might be further then what you are looking for but the snow was as good as I've found.

Pole canyon area to the south of Victor and the Big Hole Mnt's to the West of Victor / Driggs are all good to go for sledding as I understand it. Maybe I'm wrong, but I don't think so...

Big holes don't have squat in the way of snow.

Went up Pole Canyon on Sat. it was very thin !! Lot's of stuff to hit still. But on the other hand there is a lot more snow up Fox Creek.
Good Luck!
