hey, if i decide to turbo my sled. how do the 09 dragon 800s run? i have the fix kit installed and it runs great now. does a turbo on the dragon 800 make the Polaris problem even worse with these engines or are they more reliable or same? thanks for your input.

the only thing i hate about mine is my jaw hurts from the grin i always have when i get off of mine. and its just a 700

Im riding a 09' 800 with a aerocharger 66 and love it. Its my first turbo and I love it. I have had alot of mod sleds with big motors (watercraft, big bores, ect.) but its a whole different kind of power with a turbo. You will learn alot obout tuning, reading plugs, what to feel for, ect ect ect. The best advice I can give is to not be cheap when it comes to fuel. Better safe then sorry

I second that. I got 50 miles on mine b4 it went kaboom. I would recommend doing your homework before hand and listen to jarrod at code red or Justin at boondockers. great help. Can't wait till next season when mine is up again. I beleive I have it fidured out and we'll get the 'ol girl screamin again.

Switch them fellers around....Justin is at Code red, Jarrod is at BD. EW

And from a durability stand point, I've seen many boosted motors with 800-1000 miles that looked like they were just getting broke in and also many stock motors with 300 miles that were on their last leg and vise versa. In my opinion if your the type of guy who tows your sled on an open trailer with no cover, and only ever opens the hood when the low oil light comes on, a turbo is not for you, but other than that you absolutely won't be disappointed with a turbo kit from a reputable manufacturer.
