Dragged my 1973 Sno Jet SST out of the garage yesterday. With Pics.

Long track it!

I had one close to that year. It was my grandpa's and he bought it brand new. It never spent a day out of the garage or from under the cover. Didn't get ridden much. I think it had 250 miles on it.

You'll hafta do a "Tunnel Job" on it too!

My first sled was a scorpion that looked somewhat similar to your Sno Jet.
Not sure what year it was but the carb intake was right in front of your "Pinga"

Ya i will start this summer. The cover that goes in front of carb is gone going to have to make a new one.Got to get seat all re done,i meet a couple of guys that have access to parts. It was a fun machine a day or 2 ago.

Like I said in my first post in this thread, But I realize everybody doesn'r read every word in a thread (including me :D )
Was covered in my garage until 2 days ago, with back end on a jack stand, since 1987, when I bought a Polaris Indy Trail, fan.

Decarls, I was thinking of selling, now I don't know. :o

Basically all it needs is a good clean up, and maybe a new track, since the original looks a little dried out.
I think the engine will run, that was the most reliable component of the sled, back in the day. Yamaha 338 fan. Was either 38 or 42 Horse, don't rmb'r.

Don, I have my dad's Scorpion Stinger TK, 1973 400 Rockwell , thats in pretty good condition, and my mothers 1972 Rupp Yankee, 295cc twin cyl.

Plus my '95 Indy 500/M-10 backup sled, and the "Turbo Tank" 2005 Cat T660-Turbo 4-stroke.
What the he!! am I gonna do with all these machines???

Anyhow, I'm headed back to Brain-nerd (Merrifield) on Monday, as I'm getting the "jet" out of the garage in Willmar, so I can get ready to sell that house.

don't be sellin bro ......strip that bad boy down and restore .....hang it in your living room
