Calling out 'vertical escape 800'
Well seeing we're all still friends here I thought I'd throw this in here.
Last week I needed 10-58s pretty bad and my fellow snowest brother 'vertical escape 800' said he had some. He understood my "need" for them right away and sent them out immediately and told me to just send the $$$$ whenever I got the chance.
What I'm getting at is it's nice to be able to have a trust like this between someone that you don't even know. It's too bad there's people in the snowmobiling world that have no conscience.

We should all appreciate the moderators of this forum. Another forum that I was previously a member of would pull a thread of this nature immediately. Much too politically correct for my blood. It is nice to get a heads up about the deadbeats out there. Saves the next guy alot of grief. That being said, I really enjoy online purchasing. I use Ebay and the Paypal system alot. I did buy an exhaust through this forum and had an excellent transaction.
i guess i have been lucky(knock on wood) i have sold several parts through snowest......paypal is a great third party money handler.......they buyer deposits money into your paypal account, you check to verify, then you mail the buyer his or her part......flawless....i am sorry you got burned by a supposed "brother" of the sledding community!!!!

I used to be pretty trusting on things like this but after being burned a couple of times I like to have money up front. There are some people on here that I would have no problem shipping items before I get the payment. Even though I haven't met many people from here face to face, it is pretty easy to tell who the straight shooters are here.
i hope my dealings on here continue to go smooth just as they always have but that made the whole thread worth readin woodzy!!
There is no way you sent a check. Once you mail it it becomes the property of the recipent and CANNOT be reserved unless it is refused. Go ahead and call a shipping company, you lied and never intended to pay for it 
I've had quite a few dealings from this site, every single one has been great. Have got burned once sending payment first by money order (was dumb) now I only do Paypal, it's a lot better.

yeah, seriously, ICR said pipe AND can for $100 shipped, so it came to $58 total for the actual parts, thats a pretty freakin sweet deal even if things arent mint.

I think it is fair to give the accused an opportunity to defend themselves, or in some cases, incriminate themselves.
