Rode Thurs. and Sunday, there was a blond colored husky mix wandering around both days w/ no coller. Does anyone know who owns this dog? I asked around and no one seemed to know anything. I think I remember reading a post about a wondering dog up there, looked healthy and would not drink any water, was gone later when I looked.

coyote gal told me that dog has been there all season. think its owner is the minivan in the lot and he just leaves him there to hang. He usually sleeps on the trailer all day. awesome dog tho, and after all, he is a sled dog!

We saw the owner when we unloaded on Sunday...he rides a red Apex and was riding alone. He took the dog for a run down the trail, brought him back, and the dog just hangs on the trailer. Happy, playful dog that seemed to be happy being there, and didn't wander off.

very nice and friendly dog, I hope the guy puts a collar on her, I almost took her home. I thought someone might have dumped her. I also know some of the cross-dresser skiers where considering taking the dog as well. Please inform the owner if anyone sees him.
I'll let him know I SLed ski with him about once a week, Hes a good guy with a great dog, the DOg made its way up to the 1st bowl a couple weeks back looking for his owner...

It seemed like earlier in the year the dog stayed close to the van. The last few times I've seen him he's wandered quite a way up the road. I'd be concered of him getting hit by a sled on the trail or wandering onto the freeway! Not saying he's a dumb dog, just things happen.... we were talking about how dog's like to chase squirels or deer... and what if one decided to run that direction.
He definitely seems to be happy there. And for me, it is way cool to get puppy loves right before I go ride! lol Although he is shedding and I looked like a hairy mutt this past ride! HAHAHAHA But I don't want something to happen to the dog. And, man, what if someone like euge DID take him! He'd prolly be spoiled rotten at euge's house.... but the owner might be sad. lol
It was fun watching him hook it down the road with his owner this past weekend, tongue out, tail a goin' 90 to nothin'... happy dog!
