VS makes some sick radios... both my handheld and the 8800 in my truck are incredible... 90MHz of transmit bandwidth, about 800MHz receive span... will transmit on nearly every VHF/UHF two-way band.
 
those are easy, geting the whole ecu your computer wouldnt be to hard, again, time and money, its the connectiosn of all the wires underhood... power would be easy, just a 12v source to charge laptop batter, and then its batter lasts like 2 hours on its own.... there you go..just rig up a car converter or something, it would be the least of the worries

major computer skills... my buddy here at college is gonna be a computer science major, maybe he will be able to help down the road with something like it
 
well mule, i need to hit the hay. 1 am is way to late for me.... have fun and take in that last post.... if i had the know how and the $$$ i would love to try it.... hmmm. get some funding and do a fully custom DI sled for "eviromental impact" whatnot and reduced emisions. and MORE POWER!!!
