Seems to me that everybody does one thing or another to there sleds. Does anyone just pull the cord and go anymore?? Or is everyone into mods. I am just as guilty as the next guy, however I do alot less now than before. Im putting a can and some vents on the new sled as well as taking off the decals, whereas before it was pipes, rolled chaincase, heads, port jobs and all the rest.

Just checkin??:D

this is the first doo since 2004 that i've done anything except a can:eek::D

A lot can be done to greatly improve the handling/ride of a machine with a little work... what counts as a "mod"?

If you ride bone stock, no clutching/anything, sweet. But, spend a little to work on the clutching, are you on a "mod" sled now?

What about busted parts.... go with a replacement stock POS, or get something that's going to hold up the next time you do an oops?

ya I just came off of a ubr billet 900 and I am staying pretty much stocl other then vents and a can

I am riding mine stock. Unless installing a hotdogger makes her a mod sled, then I am guilty.:)

I always end up adding a few goodies to my machines. It kind of personalizes them and makes it mine. And the more performance mods the merrier. :D

My M6 is mostly stock. No major electrical or motor mods other than a Speedwerx pipe & can. I did more body type mods. Vents, no-snows, inner wheel kit, no stickers, polished tunnel, riser, skis & bellypan. When I find my 07-08 M1000 162 I probably do no more than what was done on my M6.

Mine's stock. As far as my wife knows!!!! Don't tell, ok? I don't think i could just leave it stock. Have to tinker and play in the off season. Besides, like someone said earlier, what do you do when you break something? Put stock back on? Yeah right!!!

stock

my M7 is stock but for a 4" over steering post, some vents on the hood, a lefty throttle and some snow eliminators on the boards......engine, pipe, clutch are all stock....got almost 8000 miles on it

I bought my sled used...only thing I've done was change the chaincase fluid and align the clutches...I don't consider those mods so as far as I know mine's stock.
