Does a stock 1100 proclimb suck?

Sorry Logchain, I didn't mean to trivialize your issues.

I can see how frustrating it must have been for you. Although since some sleds don't blow belts, there must have been a cause for your troubles and not a flaw in design. I just got back from my dealer and I asked him about the issue. Funny, he said, My buddies sled which wasn't a belt eater, is now after a new owner took over. Did something twist, motor mounts break? There has to be a reason even if your dealer couldn't find it.

My 1100 was a belt eater from day one. I'm not the only one that had this problam, I've read other posts with people having the same problem. But then other people aren't having any problems. I snow checked a 2012 800 pro climb that I put 800 miles on then gave it to the wife when I bought the 1100. She put another 500 miles on it before I changed the belt. It was just plain worn out . A lot of people that bought 2012 800 had belt blowers from day one This tells me that cat must have some pretty piss poor quality control.

I will never go back to a two stroke and absolutely love my sled but I have also had ZERO issues with mine and just hit 1600 miles. Best sled I've owned and I felt that way when it was stock. I now have a few small mods and love it even more.

Got to love it

I too had to fix it before I could ride it like I stoled it 300 into alignment tool some bushing and a day of working on it o but now it fun.last weekend with over a foot and a half of new snow by the end of the day every buddy wanted to try it .had to kick the xm guy off it wouldn't give back.next time will need more gas it's a fun ride
