Does a 600 Pro handle better than an 800?

I have been hearing that the 600 Pro handles even better than the 800 because of the lighter weight rotating assembly. True? Anyone have direct experience? I was thinking about doing a 2012 Pro 600 155" and putting a Silber Turbo on it. Worth it or just go with a stock 800 Pro? Will the turbo 600 make over 200hp without going over 10lbs of boost?

I've rode both. Couldn't tell a huge difference in the 2 handling wise. Both handled easier then my m8. Thee 600 with a turbo would be fun but my opinion is the 800 with warranty is honestly probably a better way to go unless you really need the turbo and money isn't much of an issue.

I havent been on the 600 Pro but I have the 800 Pro. Im just not seeing how it could handle much better than the 800, when it weighs the same as the 800, and the the 800 handles reallllllly well. Now the rotating mass and center of gravity when cornering on a motocross bike is very noticable, for instance the difference between a 250 and 450 4stroke... but the 250 weighs a lot less too. JMO

Only reason i think people feel it handles better then an 800 is that they can ride it wide open for longer giving them the feeling that its handling better cause of throttle position.

Being that they have different handle bar setups, are the ergonomics different between the two models? Are the Pro Tapers the same width and pull back angle as the standard RMK bars?

I had a '09 RMK 800 and a '09 D8, I liked my RMK better than my D8. Granted, both models had risers but the RMK bars seemed to fit me better. Could just be a mental thing....

that is just silly

Umm f-bomb use to ride a perfectly setup up 800 with slp twins if you havnt ridden one then you have no idea, its not an 800 but slp said my 700 with slp twins porting and head make just a hair over 170HP.

So yeah iam sure a pro does feel underpowerd from the factory but that dont mean with some help it cant be made even better

If I was going to speand the money on boost I sure would not put it in a 6. I would have a hard time thinking a 6 would make over 200 with out going over 10?

F, sometimes i sure Meg thinks your underpowered? HMMMMMM! LOL

Yea... Rob's perspective is closer to the curb than most... LOL...

I drove both... and as a smaller rider.. the diff is very noticeable in the tight stuff.

The Gyro effect of the motor is noticeable... Sure the 800 is super nimble... but at the end of the day... you will be less tired on the 600... if you are a power junkie... then hmmm...get the 800 or take that extra savings on the sled and get the best of both... a Carl's 660 pro... wax an 800 and have the feel of the 6.

My 2 centavos.

LMAO, how's the helmet fitting eh? ;) I sure wish I had your perspective right now because I'm waffling....
