I don't care either. As long as you can actually ride it, all is good. I too, am tired of hearing that a certain sled is better than the other. Honestly, it's all up to an individuals interpretation and what the like/dislike.

As for the breaking down 3 miles from the truck thing. Well ,sh*t happens. I have ridden with many folks on different sleds. Mine has died, Mule's has had issues, as has Dog's and XC's. I have been with other riders on Doo, Poo or Cat and at one point or another something happens. Start tossing BB kits, NOS or turbos and then the "OH SH*T" moments exponentially increase. That's part of the game and if you don't like it, stay home and do the dishes.

hey I'd be happy with a 340 Bravo as long as I'm ridin'. :face-icon-small-sho

Sweet!!! Bravo w/ a big bore. My old Bravo was only a 250. I thought it was truly a mod sled when we added a 121 inch track, Phazer rear suspension, and trimmed the windshield. Going to be my boys when he outgrows the Polaris 120. Daughter is going to be on a Kitty Kat this year. I begrudingly let them ride w/ me even though they don't ride Skidoo's--yet. :)

It was kinda nice having a different sled than everyone else in our group. If I had a brainfart and got stuck, I could blame my sled. Now that we're all on Pro's, they'll be getting personal and bashing my riding. Crap!!

Nope don't care at all. I don't care if you get stuck or breakdown, what are friends for? But I'll prolly give you some chit and you'll have to take it or I'll leave you there for a while.

i dont even run sled parts.. not impressed with anything. just running yami 4 banger power, that way you know you get home.

i could care less, i ride with poos's doo's cats, yami's. more cross breeds. love em all.

I really don't care, as long as they're out to have fun...that's what its all about for me anyway!

If everyone rides the same brands and models it is easier to borrow parts during the night when you have a break down.:face-icon-small-sho

LOL

And it makes it more likey to borrow parts during the day too like belts. If a sled clutch goes out in a deep valley, you swap clutches and drive it out rather than pull or winch it out.

Also, if the sled doesn't run right, you can sometimes swap parts to figure out where the problem is.

Bottom line though, I don't care what I ride with as long as they are maintained well.

I'm more interested in what FatDogX has done to his Street Glide than what anyone else is riding, and riding is racing!

What the heck is going on here. 35 post and not one from wyoboy1000 yet.

Is he sick? I know he has the broken leg, maybe somethings up with the fingers now. :)

O' this is the Mountain/deep powder section not the Arctic Cat section. Maybe he hasn't found it yet.

:)

Back to the topic. I don't care what others ride. I am a little more selective on who I ride with. I like riding with folks that maintain their sleds. We have all come home on the end of a rope but we like to keep those trips to a minimum.

Far more important than what someone rides, is what's in their Muff Pot !! :face-icon-small-win

I can put up with alot . . . for a braut !!!! :face-icon-small-ton

Somebody better go check on him, something is definitely awry. Besides it is about time to start getting after brands of sled that we don't currently ride. People have been down right cordial on this thread.

5 trips w/ a friend that has two '09 Dragons, 3 motors, he really loves Polaris right now:face-icon-small-fro. Pro I ride w/ keeps throwing trouble codes, is this common, or is this sled a lemmon? M series cats have a huge hood--perfect for guy's who like big women, I expect to see my brother on a Cat someday:face-icon-small-sho. Can't comment on new Cat yet. Yamaha's, besides being heavy, last too long making it hard to justify updating and modifying all the time.

Good things about my skidoo--looked great being pulled back on a rope and saved lots of fuel--twice. Voltage regulator first time, blown turbo line for the second.

Is it snowing yet? A snowmobiler's version of "are we there yet?".

I'm with you Coldfinger... I have owned every brand except Yamaha, and what irritates me, is guys who don't show up ready to ride. Get 5 miles from the parking lot and realize they didn't fill their oil tank. Thought a half a tank of gas would be enough. Broke the rope 15 minutes after leaving the truck and said they knew it was about to go, and the rest of us had to wait every time he had to use a belt to start it!!! Ohhh I’m getting pizzed now! LOL The guy who doesn't have spare spark plugs, never thinks to check their belt tension, and wonders what that noise is!!...... I could go on, but then I would need to get back on the meds! LOL. Let it snow!!!! :faint:

I like all brand of sled other than Yamaha, not a fan of 4 strokes and that much weight, please don`t bash just my 02.

I have an 04 skidoo Rev but would also be happy with a IQ Polaris or M series
Arctic Cat. first sled I learned on was an old 76 aircooled Polaris Colt 340 and that thing was slow but fun. First sled I owned was a 96 Cat Powder Special 580 motor was bullet proof and very dependable I wish I still had that one for the Wife to ride.
