there was a thread on here a while back, where a fellow members family was in a terrible accident, I still think about it, and still feel horrible for their loss even though I had never known him. I think snowmobiling in general is like a brotherhood, something that connects you to your fellow human being, something in common, so you can relate to them that much more, therefore have a bit more emotion for them.
Its kind of like being patriotic, you feel more for your fellow countrymen in times of distress, because you share that bond of being Canadian or American etc..
