Just got back from Baker.Soft snow at 7 AM. Met up with 5 other riders. DO NOT TAKE THE 13 TRAIL UP TO SCHREIBERS...OVER A MILE AND A HALF OF GRAVEL......TAKE THE BLUE LAKE TRAIL AND CUT OVER .
This is ONLY if you park at the lower sno-park where the 12/13 trail splits!!

blue lake has almost a half a mile of gravel... and soon it will be very difficult to get to it...

Should be really soon that you can bust through and park higher up on the switch backs..

Came down the 13 trail.Saw an '09 800 dragon that had fried his hi-fax only 1/2 mile from where they unloaded. Hi-fax was melted and warped.

Guess you shoulda shoveled the snow at the 12/13 intersection. Looked like a 45 minute job for one person....quicker for 2-3 people.

Actually around 6:30 this morning,a 4 wheel drive with a 4 place enclosed plowed through that corner at 12/13 trail. I turned my truck around and followed him around the corner and parked at that snow park around the corner on 13. After I came off of the hill EVERYONE was parking there. The one's with the sled decks were parking up the 13 about 3/4 of a mile from the turn.

Blue Lk. trail is just about done. A lot of gravel there too. Definitely done after Sunday with this heat. Talked to one guy who said you could drive to the third switchback up the main road.

I was able to drive up the 13 and some parked just below the switchback where the gated road is at. Some buddies took blue lake and hard a hardtime and minor damage trailing around the gate. Lots of cross country folks parking up there too. Sledders prevailed though at parking the highest. Looked like a real cluster at the end.
