do it yourself turbo RX 1?

I'll admit it i'm cheap and don't want to spend the money for a real turbo kit so i've been considering for years the option of building my own. I'd like to hear what other folks have done, i'm hoping to find used pieces and parts.

A user on Snowest known by "Boston Racing" did a home built turbo on a Polaris. Might check with him.

It's not as easy as you might think. The biggest stumbling block back in the day was how and where to pick up the air signals used to control fuel pressure and carb pressurization. These are all located in the intercooler, so you could save yourself a whole lot of grief by buying a reputable companies intercooler.

That's how I built my first turbo setup . It's alot different today.
