Dirt bikes + snow = very cool

just because a few people are louder on the forum than others dont think they speak for all.. They share the same passion,and love to ride. and believe me they are great guys in person.
If you want to ride a snowbike.. we are in W.Yellowstone RIGHT NOW
I see your in Bozeman.
were doing a evening night ride tonight and the same fri, and sat..
come by the Cyclops Motorsports/ Motocam booth at expo and say Hi
I love my 2moto!!

I'll be by!

It was good to talk to you guys there. Nice to be a die hard sledder and talk to you about the advantages of your kits without you bashing what I ride. To anyone who hasn't met these guys, very standup guys.

Thanks It was great to talk with you as well.. We ended up having a blast just outside of town.... hopefully you'll get a chance to ride mine or someone elses bike soon. I dont rep either snowbike company.. Im only a consumer trying to let others enjoy what I do..But if you know someone that needs lights or cameras, thats a different story

I have both. Love them for different reasons and take one of the other for different conditions. I have ridden the 2moto setup with sled buds and had a great time on all occasions. The gas thing was an easy fix with a Craigger built can and I added some options for carrying gear on the front plate and swing arm... plus my backpack.

Basically breaks out like this for me: deep, bottomless pow like I rode last weekend (thanks MOCO and SWIM) I like to take the sled. I could have been fine on the bike for the the steeper climbs you can't normally go straight up without poaching. They tell me the turbo (KXF, RMZ) will do this with no problem. Last year I climbed out of bowls that only full mod sleds were getting out of. You just have to pick a different line. As for down hill... I just don't think sleds can do all the things a bike will... at least not with me on it. In the trees the bike naturally will fit in more places because it's got a smaller profile. I love tree bashing on both but the bike is normally faster and can do the tighter stuff.

On the bike, the whole mountain is like a big moto / terrain park wrapped in a soft blanket. Make a mistake and all you have to worry about is getting clear of the bike. Then getting it un-stuck is easy and it almost never goes very far down hill to collect the tree shudder (ya know hitting all the timber when you get pithched and the sled keeps going...;)) I really like my bike option ...

On the trails, the bike is not my fav. If I'm out on a ride with the girl I try to play on the side most of the time and watch out if you have a ton of ice or road crossings. But who here buys a sled to cross roads?:rolleyes:

I don't know if I'll ever give up my sled because there is nothing like the deep powder day where you just cut it up and I love that feeling of laying deep inside the corner and hammering out just to flick it to the other side and do it again... kinda like lather and rinse and repeat over and over again.

As for the rivallry, why do that?! Is there limited terrain and only so many people can ride there at one time? Do we really care about staking claim to an area? None of the tons of guys I ride with care... and like sleds a single guy (HAWKDIC) isn't the voice for all... deffinately not me, and none of the guys that I know who ride 2moto bikes. Judge us like you would a guy who rides a different brand sled... rass him but don't hate him. One of my best friends and riding partners rides a cat and besides the extra time I spend in the doctor office for back surgery I don't mind helping him get unstuck. hahaha j/k MOCO!

There is room for all and the more the merrier... :):beer;:beer;

^^^^What hauler said^^^^

You can fit about 3.5 bikes between the skis of a sled, which gives us 3.5 times the powder! :cool:
I too will keep a sled for non-bike conditions/rides/groups/etc. :beer;

spring time single track

The prospect of tearing around come spring has me wanting a 2-moto or ?. I keep thinking what a blast it would be when the snow sets up, not to say it needs too, to leave the sled @ home jump on a nice light bike and rip through the trees or go explore some ridges....hmmm.....:face-icon-small-coo

About spring riding.....it's easier to ride a sled through the mud if the trailhead is melting out. (i.e. - sorta like riding your bike up a gravel road while applying the front brake :eek:)

I can take it also!

I bashed every Twoski I ever owned. Let me ride yours and I can show you how if you like?:)
