difference between Dan Adams fly bars and Burandt's rsi bars?

For all the questions concerning width... Both bars are designed to be cut down to rider preference. Fly makes a very hi quality bar. Fly sent us a few sets of these last season and the bars just work! plain and simple.

Also with the handlebar designs. I have always been a big fan of risers, Rode a pro last year with 1" riser and it felt nice. After garage boondocking on these lower bars Im really liking the feel of these lower bars. Granted i have no snow time on them yet but im excited to try them. And im 6'1"

There's no angles of bends posted, but from what I can see the fly bars have a higher quality....crossbar pad cover. Haha they pretty much look like Dan liked the RSI's and had a contract with fly so fly put them out. Right down to the crossbar mounts they look the same. Slightly different paint job though so who knows. I'm curious as well to know actual specifics.

Funny how people just suspect things without doing there research.......Dan Adams is a pioneer in the snowmobile industry and has no benefit in copying someone elses handle bar design. This bar has been in the makings for the past two seasons anyways. Lets point out some differences so no one gets there panties in a bundle....

NXT LVL Fly Handle Bar differences....

-5 3/4" hieght.....different
-8 degree pullback.....different
-Narrower mounting point.....different
-Wider control area.......different
Hand guard capable and has more cut lines so they can be cut to fit a wider range of people! Plus you are buying OEM since Fly is the producer of the aerotaper bar

Thanks! Those are the perticulars we were looking for that aren't posted anywhere else on the bars. I did research and prior to this post there were no perticulars given on the bars as far as rise, pullback, mounting with, or control area (which I have no idea what that means...)....also I wouldn't really count more cut lines as a feature. If someone wants to cut a different size they can just measure in and cut....

Control area means more room for controls.....brake control, throttle control, etc...And sorry i guess pre measured cut lines would be more "user friendly" instead of a feature.....:face-icon-small-con I dont know how much experience you have with installing bars but having pre measured cut lines is a huge benifit when cutting bars. Its hard to get both sides perfect unless you are running a flat race bar...

That makes sense. And definatly a good thing. I have the 5" rise RSI bars and that is the only thing I don't like is that it's tight getting the controls on. Ended up with a different kill switch and throttle block to get it to all fit. I like fairly skinny bars.

Any reason I would not want these for general mountain riding and some of the younger riders. We have a few 2PROs and a 12 RMK that the family rides:face-icon-small-coo

Better bar compared to stock all the way around especially if your under 6 foot. lowers your center of gravity on the sled and with the different angles in bar design it helps lessen arm pump. Black fit and finish looks clean also. and for the price you cant go wrong.

Burandt Bars in CF (not wrapped)?

In stock

Thank you,

Are the Burandt bars also available in Carbon Fibre (not wrapped)?

What about the FLY NXT LVL Dan Adams Bars? Available in Carbon Fiber (not a wrap)?

We do not need to do the Carbon wrap because our grip heaters work awesome with aluminum bars. Less money but doesn't look as cool for sure.

These work great for shorter riders and the heaters work awesome, I have these bars on both my sleds.

Imagine all the grams you"ll save:face-icon-small-con for an extra 100$

Anon, You have your goals and ideals and I have mine. I'm efforting a 400# wet sled, sub 350 dry, so every ounce counts! Cheap, hell no, but that isn't why I do it! If your worried about $100 you don't belong on a sled with the price of fuel these days. P.S. Fix your misquote, I said that, not RSI!
