It's been like this the last couple years. Diesel was .25 - .40 gal higher from spring to fall and then they leveled out by winter and stayed there. I still predict gas and diesel to be about the same price by winter and throughout. They said the said the same thing about the last Hurricane that came through the gulf, gas would soar because they had all the rigs shut down, but it actually went down.

I was in the Twin cities this week, diesel was right around 3.85 all over and on the way home last night it was 3.84 until I got 15 miles from home, then it was back to 4.10. Just got off the phone with the owner of one station, he said he has to do what the competition does and they are "raping" you guys is his exact words and he said there is no reason there should be a .20/gal difference in 30 miles, especially when the price of gasoline is the same between the 2.
