FYI, for those wanting a really lite-weight & QUIET can, Diamond S has a sale on their cans right now. They have the Axys cans now listed.

I have the Ti Quiet can on my '14 Pro and really like it, so I placed an order for my '16 Axys Pro-RMK so I can have it when I pick up my sled this fall.

Here's a pic of the Ti Quiet (with the heat induced color changes) on my '14. It weighs 3lbs 4oz.

Just ordered a Diamond S Ti Quiet can. Going to give them a try since they are known to be a 'Quiet' can. Also agree with previous statement, glad to see others concerned about Db levels.

I also ordered a Diamond S Ti Quiet for my Axys Pro. I rode with a guy who had a T3 last winter and I could not tell any difference in the sound of his versus the stock one that I was on that day. Pretty impressive given the massive weight savings. The color after using it for a while is cool too! I am looking forward to having a sled with a dry weight under 400 lbs. when I install the muffler this fall.

They may work well but I have decide to go with another titanium manufacturer as I am not keen on all the welds on the inlet pipe. These will not be as smooth and free flowing as a pipe that is bent to this same shape.

I would just like to say thanks to all of those who have bought our Titanium can's.we are running a preseason sale on our Titanium can's

Teth-Air
if the can is not tuned with the right back pressure you will lose significant horsepower there is a lot more going on in a two stroke exhaust than exhaust flow

A bendable titanium will not have the strength of a non bendable.

I don't hear any complaints about Niels power pipes.
They are all custom segments.

Two stroke cans are a properly (hopefully) sized outlet for the expansion chamber.
I would worry more about dependability than whether the pipe looks smooth.
I've seen a few cheaper titanuim bike exhausts fall apart from fatigue.

I hope you are not talking about the unit 6 one. My buddy bought the carbon version last year and the build quality was horrible and sounded like ****. He sold it the very next day it was that bad

What are the sound/performance differences between the quiet can and the lite can. I might get flamed with this, but I want a can with a bit of bark to it. Not obnoxiously loud but more throaty than stock. Before you start in on me, I don't go screaming through parking lots and I ride where there is rarely many if any others on the trail. So this won't be a problem for me.

I'm kinda in the same boat on this. Don't want loud. But want a little more sound than stock. Somewhere in the middle would be good.

Watch the Diamond S video. It shows a stock, small (louder), and Quiet muffler doing the same line (more or less) each time. I would say that the Quiet has a little more deep sound to it. At idle, it sounds stock. The smaller can is even lighter so if you want a little more sound, buy that one.

No, Titanium and supposed to be about same loudness as SLP or Skinz. Time will tell.

sledhead
we spent all winter improving our light can we brought the decibel level down while maintaining a good performance sounding exhaustit it actually makes more power than our original light weight can also

we will be getting some sound clips of our new lightweight can on our website

Sounds promising! Cant wait to hear the new sound, sway me over to the light can?? :face-icon-small-coo

Now that some sleds are starting to trickle in I hope Diamond S has theirs so they can start building our snow checked cans
