Here are my pics. I used some aluminum tubing and expanded metal to fill the gaps around my knees. I'm sure it wasn't necessary but I did it anyways. If you look close you can see in the other pics my cable & hair pin "hinge" to open the hood. Also notice the front picture where I riveted on a thin piece of sheet metal to cover the gap, but then cut a 1/2 circle out of the center so that when it's open that 1/2 circle will rest against the air horn to keep it more stable when opened. I also just drilled a hole and made a couple "L" brackets as hold downs for when the hood is closed.
