I was out riding yesterday and the air temp was about 35. We were in the trees coming down the mountain out into the open I got on it ran fine and I blurped the throttle and pinned it and it cut out then the DET sensor came on and the engine light flashed. I turned the sled off then fired it back up and every thing was fine. Back to norm and ran fine. What would cause this?

You over revved it, very common.

I was riding it hard all day but I did notice a couple of times it had a slight bog when I would pin it. Does that hurt the engine or is that a safety to keep from damage?

Hay Troy ran mine today and could get it to run a little rough around 5000 rpm 20% throttle. Cleared all map correction except for 100% throttle 7000-8250 RPM. Ran again a no bog.
Maybe you loaded it up going down through the tree and the plugs where wet when you got on it hard.
Maybe check your plugs when you get to the bottom before you get on the throttle.
Maybe you should try the NGK radium plugs. Your machine is broke in now maybe you should put new plugs in.

I like the looks of the 8" rear wheels on Cris's Pro-Climb. I may get a set for mine. They are about $50.00 a pair and will fit on the Poos. Mine are getting close to being shot.

Good ride!!!

Hey Troy, we rode today. Much better snow than I would have bet on. I have 160 miles on mine and so far no issues.

Jeff, It was a killer ride yesterday. The snow was great when it warmed up. I say we go up this wednesday. Meet at Dutchman at noon. What you think? I will check my plugs.

Larry, You in for a wednesday ride ? Im lovin this sled more every time I ride it. It flat out works. Glad to here no probs.

Troy I would like to, but I have a customers 800 that I have to tear the engine down to replace a crank seal. I want to have it ready for him for next weekend if possible. let's talk.
