DET Issues after "The Fix"

Wondering about how does one get the original 2008 flash now? I have a 2009 Dragon. Checked at dealer on Digital Wrench, 2009 & 2008 list same flash #4013136 for my machine. That is the flash I have in it now c/w PCV, SLP single and 12.5 PA head. I am not 100% sure, but I do not think that is the correct number for the original 2008 flash. What is the correct number for the 2008 flash?

DET issues resolved. Was the fuel filter. Machine ran awesome today.

A little late for ya but the #4013136 flash is the april 2010 for yellow injectors.
2008/9 flash for yellow injectors is #4012707
Credit goes to someone on this site. I wrote the info down but not the author. I am sure you can search for it and get the rest of the numbers.

Now your running good you might not want to mess with it?

Check the fuel lines in the tank! Cheap and easy thing to do! Mine were crumbled in the bottom of the tank and thats what was causing my DET!

Very true....will starve it for fuel like a restriction from a clogged fuel filter. Had a sending unit out of an IQ with the same crumbled fuel line in it. The section between the pump inlet and fuel pick up loop.

Posting again for those who didnt find it on the search:

Actually here is the repost of what I posted last year:

Depends on your injector color.

The 800 has 3 injector colors (dots located on body of each injector) - Blue, red, Yellow. All injectors should be of the same color.

The 04-15-10 flash number = Blue 4013135 , Red 4013134 , Yellow 4013136

The 01-11-10 flash number = Blue 4013066 , Red 4013065 , Yellow 4013067

Original 2010 update flash = Blue 4012959 , Red 4012958 , Yellow 4012960

You can have your dealer run a "Service Report" and it will list the "Software part #". That will tell you what you have loaded.

det

when the fix is installed it works a lot better to take the sled to the dealer and have the computer flashed back to the 09 factory map not the update map but the original map no froblems with any sleds that we have done this way

It would be great if I could get the flash #............just seems like a mystery on the flash #.

Thanks

i dont have the number i could prob get it we just took the sled to the dealer and had them install the pre update original map and had no problems after that

I have looked at the Digital Wrench site with Polaris Tech. Original '08 / Pre-update flash is no longer available. Is there some way of getting it via Digital Wrench in Canada? I do not require the flash but others may.
