Denver Broncos

Ok, I've never blamed a loss on the Refs, but that was ridiculous. To say that the replay wasn't working on the 1st call? Jezus, just look at the big screen, and there's enough proof right there that it wasn't a fumble. That was the 1st TD by Denver. Then to blow a call with the game on the line in the final seconds just blows my mind. I thought it was bad with the NBA refs gambeling. I wonder how much money these refs won on the Broncos this week? I'm starting to think any sport with a ref is just pre planned. Maybe I'll have to stick to just watching UFC. That ref doesn't need to be fired, just hung from his ballz in downtown San Diego.

uhhhhh San Diego fan maybe? Everyone agrees the call was blown, but you are assuming that if SD did get the ball that they wouldn't have lost it somehow. If you want to get mad, get mad at YOUR defense that gave up 31 points in the first half.

I was at the game. It was crazy. I told everyone that going for two was the wrong call. You are at home and have the crowd. Denver should not have let SD back in. SD had a lot of big plays to get them back in the game. Denver looks improved, but there are still a lot of holes on defense.

the 2 point call was crazy, regardless of the outcome that has got to be Shannon's worst call ever, and this is from one of the best to ever coach the game, i dont get it

WTF, were you playing in the game.
Do you have a turd in your pocket to say We.

Something I have never understood, people saying we as if they were on the team playing in the game. Just because you are a fan, doesn't make you part of the team.

most real fans use the term "we"....i would not expect women to understand this, lol :o;):D:beer;

I was at the game, definitely the best game I've ever been to.Just an FYI during a challenge the play is NOT replayed on the big screen!!

No you, you, you PERSON, Most "real" fans do not use the term "we". Only dilusional people (you) that actually think that the San Diego Chargers and the players on the team really, really, really, really, really like them (you). Get a life my friend............

I agree that there were some "questionable" ref. calls there, but, I'll take them. :)

If you read Monday Morning Quarterback by Peter King, he gets Shanahan's logic directly from him. I think it was a brilliant call. I would still think that even if it failed because it shows guts.

Wow, that's cool......you have the power to edit anybodys post. Just don't let that power go to your head.:D:devil:

If I was a Bronco fan, I wouldnt be proud of this win.

Why? Because the refs screwed something up? Are you saying that Denver was not deserving of this win? They played well with exception of two really big play blunders (credit to SD). Bronco fans are proud to get back over the hump (i.e. San Diego Chargers). Last year at this time SD pummeled "US". Cutler looks good as does the Denver offense. The defense needs some work still. Denver is up 2-0 in the division and has early season tie breakers. That is huge in the AFC.

LMFAO... Way to go Big D......

Why? Because the refs screwed something up? Um, yup.Are you saying that Denver was not deserving of this win? Uh, Yup.

Think of it this way. Would the Broncos be victors if the ref doesn't blow the fumble dead? This win is nothing to be proud about. (Ok, I did love the 2 point conversion call):beer;:D

Win is a win, you lose some calls and you get some calls.

If you remember correctly Denver lost last year in a game to Chicago. The Bears were on the Broncos 6 yard line getting read to score, Grossman fumbled the ball in a similar matter that Cutler did. Broncos DB Abdullah picked the ball up and ran down the field, while the refs blew the play dead and ruling it an incomplete pass. Denver went on to lose the game after that score in overtime 34-37.

On top of that the ref that made the mistake is Ed Hochuli and was rated as the #2 ref (1 vote from #1) by NFL coaches, he has worked 2 Super Bowls and is a trial attorney. Again, it happens.

You are absolutely right. They shouldn't be proud of their win either.:D

O.K Yes it was a fumble, even Cutler admitted it. But show me any quarterback in the NFL who is willing to walk up to a ref and say "excuse me Mr. referee, but that really was a fumble, I think you should give the ball to the Chargers"! Show me that and I'll show you a fool who won't keep his job. That didn't directly decide the game, the two plays, and two chances by the Chargers to stop them decided it.

The ref made the mistake, not the Broncos. In the third quarter, Chambers was given a touchdown on a wobbling reception at the left pylon he clearly did not control... 6 points chargers. On the Charger's kick return for TD, watch the replay and see the block in the back that sprung him. 6 points Chargers. This stuff goes both ways. If the Broncos can get right on defense they will be there in the end, as will the Chargers. When you are averaging 40 points a game, but can't stop your opponent you won't win by shootout or any other means week in and week out.

I am a Broncos fan, but that applies to both teams.

It is now Tuesday, Game day is Sunday. Rivers and Turner need to get over it and start thinking about next week's apponent or their going to find themselves 0-3 where the Broncos have a very realistic shot at seeing 4-0.

Just my 2 cents.

Hochuli must've been too busy showing off his massive guns to get the call right.
