Denali Decks

Yes it is,but, I talked to the dealer which is the father. His son is in China working right now and he is building these decks over there and shipping them back here to sell. So at least there is some quality control...hopefully. Which is why I want to hear from people who have them. If you didnt buy anything that was made in China...well...you wouldnt have anything!!!

Hello

We have met with the Son (we won't mention his name online) he came to our offices and wanted us to be the Canadian importer for this product, that way we could offer our decks and then also have a cheaper alternative. After doing research on the deck and seeing the quality of them we did not want to be associated with this deck and would not feel comfortable selling the product to our customers.

Our main concerns were:

- the lack of quality control
- the use of inadequate thickness of material
- poor wirring
- poor decking surface

We understand the draw to this product due to the cheap cost but keep in mind you need to add superclamps to that price, superglides to the ramps and deck surface to protect it. Not to mention th trips to the welding shop to fix cracks etc...

Find Fuel96 on here and ask him his thoughts. He had one of these decks because it was a "good" deal and after having to flip his ramp over and jumping on it everytime he loaded his sled to get it to slide back together he decided to come buy one of our decks.

If you are looking for a trouble free, worry free deck then come down have a look at a Full Lotus deck.

We understand that we are in a higher price point, but you are getting an infinite amount of a more qualite product. Our decking along sets our decks apart from anything on the market.

I hope this has given you some insight, you get what you pay for.

Thanks

I know what you guys are saying....but we are comparing 1550 to 3500 or 4000 dollar decks. Thats a lot of freakin money to dish out for a deck. I already have superclamps and an old truck bed lining is what I have used on all my decks and trailers for 15 years!!! There is probably $1000 in extras just for superclamps and superglides alone !!! Plus you guys are dealers...so a little biased. Dont get me wrong,Marathon,Bulldog and Lotus are probably the best on the market but I have a trailer and just need a deck.

There must be someone out there who has one of these decks.
Whar do you think of them?

I agree. $3500-$4000 for a sled deck is way to much coin for me to spend. Plus I would have to put it on my Dodge truck that is made in Mexico!:face-icon-small-con

Proudly North American , Canada, United States of America, Mexico. Proudly NORTH AMERICAN. Dont sell out to China.

For 1550 you could buy a welder and the deck and fix it yourself.

Ask on dootalk I think theres a few members over there that own these.

Is there a dealer close to prince george?

I own a marathon and its had to be welded.

Ive owned two silverlakes and they both needed to be welded.

Full lotus looks like the strongest.

Is Denali Decks the same as Titan decks ? Our are they different companys.

If your going to buy a cheap *** deck with plans to fix it. Then just buy the welder and metal and make one. I would not load two 12000 dollar sleds on some cheap *** deck made by 12 year olds from China.
But that is just me.

I can't find any current info on these guys in the last year, but my Hi-Rise has been a great deck. Full aluminum, retractable sides, LED lamps, superclamps and glides- we bought two and he delivered them to Spokane for $2400USD.

I agree with the dealers about the chinese QC. I also agree with you that the price is seamingly excessive, but the quality,r&d,finish and function of these decks is second to none, you will have one of these for years. You can find a used one for half of new(or a new steel one) and it will last long enough for you to work your way up to a new one. I am a welder by trade and have seen cracked aluminum welds done here in BC, let alone by some unknown co. in china.

I got a Denali Deck, i love it!!!! I have had no problems with it works great, i have had 2 sleds on it and works awesome. I bought it cause it is not way over priced like the other decks around. I also know lots of welders so i figured i would try it and if it needs to be beefed up then i got lots of people that could do that for me BUT so far it has been great and you can't beat the dollar!!! The Father is very good to deal with i had a welder buddy look at it and he said the welding on it looks pretty good. So for the dollar value you cant go WRONG!!!!!!

Hmmm paying 4000 for a marathon or 1500 for a Denali?

I payed 1500 for my Denali deck when me and some guys ordered 6 and 3 of the decks have over 50 thousand KM on them driving blown out mountain roads with two mountain sleds loaded with no issues.

The new decking this year is marine grade and outlasting previous years. Yes i replaced all of the wiring with insulated wire rated at -40 as well as the running lights. I have a two piece ramp and all thought it may not be as convenient as a telescopic ramp it will never bend to the point it is unusable. I also replaced all hardware with grade 8 and added super glides on the ramp and deck surface. No matter what kind of deck you own it could develop cracks so checking over all the welds a few times a season never hurts.

I am all for supporting the local economy but at 21 years old paying for a 25 thousand dollar truck and a 8 thousand dollar sled keeps me at a pretty tight budget and if i can modify a lower end deck to suite my needs it just helps with money for things like fuel and insurance. One day when i have enough money I'll sell the deck and invest in a Marathon or truck boss deck. Picture is before my towing mirrors arrived

They must be a scam!

I have 800 bucks in material in a single place and the two place i have 1200 in just aluminum and ply! China cheap leads to problems down the road! whats the difference of 1500 dollars when you got a 25000 dollar truck and 24000 in sleds on it? If u can scrounge up the money buy the better deck!

Ya i love my Denali Deck, that was the only thing i didn't like was the wiring which is easy to fix in the garage with some beers!! LOL for the price why not give it a try i thought!!!

I have a denali deck and love it, Price was the main factor. Denali is just a copy of the marathon but better price. I would love to buy a full lotus deck but can't justify the high price.
