The rule also states something about forcing racers under the yellow line. I say if you drive it there go for it. Heck why pave it then? Getting too many rules.

I like smoke alot, one of my favorite drivers but Reagan Smith won that race. He was forced below the yellow line. Had Smith not gone below the yellow he would have spun Tony and probably wrecked other cars too. This was a very Political call on NASCAR's part and a bad one at that.
goodyear f'd up again, when are going to drop these idiots, no other series runs em for a reason!!!
If that would have been JR there is NO WAY NASCAR would have made the call they did. NO WAY IN HELL!!!!
Bump stop setups abuse the tires much more than conventional setups do. With bump stops they have turned these into 3400lb go carts. They have very little suspension when they are down on the stops and the tire/tire sidewall takes all the abuse. As for the right rears blowing, these cars handle so bad they are leaning on the right rear alot more than ever to turn the car which in turn abuses that tire more.
In NASCAR's attempt to level the playing field they have created a car that handles really bad and abuses the tires more than any other car. Sure Goodyear could make a real hard tire that would take all kinds of abuse but the racing wouldn't be worth watching. Hard tire + naturally bad handling car = really ****ty race to watch.
