I live in Michigan and i am planning to head out west somewhere. Only time i can get away is late December or beginning of April. What and where is the best time and place to go with those two times?

Thanks guys!!

April hands down head to Revelstoke to make the drive worth while. Dec can be good for deep powder but its hit and miss riding isn't as fun until all the land mines are covered. Spring riding is always my fav and usually you can get both sunshine and snow.

I agree with April,
sun is higher,
snow is deeper,
lots of base
and late season lodging rates

Seen us get 2' plus powder days in April/early May at 10,000'(Summit County Co.)and very few people to share it with:D.

April days are a lot longer then December which means you can stay at the bars longer!! More hangover repair time!!! LOL:face-icon-small-ton

Spring riding on the Grand Mesa is incredible. I think riding in late spring is the best there is. We have fresh snow almost daily in April with a very solid base. You have powder to play in and you can ride anywhere. Hero Snow daily.

I'd say December. If your gonna drive a long ways im sure there is SOMEWHERE that has good snow on the days you choose
