December 3-5th Tog ride, I got info and accomodation

Booked our cabin thur and fri night. The lady couldnt find a reservation for anyone being there on Wed night to ride thursday. I thought some where riding on thursday. What is the dinner plan boys. Friday night we should do a big something, maybe chili, or spagetti and meat balls, or stew of some sort. I could bring the roaster oven to do the meal but I aint gonna do the dishes bi tches.
 
I'm riding Tog tomorrow... staying at the Ranch Inn Hotel in Jackson as we speak!!!!
I'll bring some food.. who wants to be the meal planner?

Mike just face it, you are always kitchen hoe...............but we can do some dishes
 
I guess better the kitchen hoe than the pivot man. I'll think about a meal, we will need that list of dishes bi tches
 
Rode Tog Today.... good snow in most places..
Had to watch for rocks in spots though. Rode pretty hard, it felt really good!
We for sure need at least 1 more stomr before thursday.

JFP said he already booked for Wednesday. Don't know what he is doing? We will be there Thursday evening.
Anyone that only has 2-3 people per cabin, look at the list and see if you want to share a cabin with 2-3 others to keep price down.
I don't know if I can wait until Thursday. Harrysmith is saying decent snow up there!!!
 
we are going to laramie wed night and will arrive at tog pass before 2pm so we can take a test ride before we all get together.
 
what is the definition of good snow.....? hopefully more than the 22" that snotel is showing....

Dan, I left a message with Derek and we played phone tag...he called back and left a message letting me know that he had the reservation and was going to call tomorrow to get a CC #. May not be staying for friday....rest of the group needs to be back.

If someone has a better alternative I am certain the lot of us are willing to listen. I will take Harry's word for it and go from there. I don't know if there is better snow elsewhere. Willing to drive, have the time and will go where the best snow is. John, if you are concerned about the snow depths and can only go for less than 24hrs, it may not be worth the time... your decision. Would like to have you.

minimum everywhere was 2'.
On the right slope and and in the trees there is often 5' of snow. I would try and trench to the ground and I couldn't ever hit it.
I'm going back up on thursday. I wouldn't make the drive and spend the money if it wasn't worth the early riding.
 
Was just looking for a snow report....hoping it would be better.... not questioning anyone or the trip...I'm still headed up there regardless. Good to hear that there is more than what is showing.

Thanks for some real time reports! Always glad to take someone's first hand account of conditions!! Sounds like the conditions are better than last year.
I may have to try to find a reason to leave earlier than Thursday

I am betting though from what I know of Mike.......he likes his space. That's just him. Tried snuggling up with him a few times and got the cold shoulder:rose: Sky was easy as my fall back guy.;)
