Dealer pulling one over on me?

get a quote. take it to the next dealer. tell them if they can beat it they might get your money. get a quote. take it to the first dealer tell them the same. dealers want to make as much cash off u as they can but in the end they will normally take something vs nothing that's just to much money for a leftover. got mine near the end of last year (assault) for 11,000 0% on the loan {dropped 9,000 down but they offered it for the whole loan} were offering me a pro for 10,300 or 10,500 cant remember just did not want one. they did get me for a feu extra bucks for extended warranty but I hade them toss in a shop manual. I did haggle 3 dealers to get the deal but saved some $$$$ just my 0.02

Ya I have seen people do this to save a couple hundred bucks, and then when they are needing warranty work they are shocked that they are not the dealers top priority to get in and out of the shop.
Sure couple riding buddies may have gotten their sleds a little cheaper but the dealer I work with gives me a fair price and does not think twice about taking parts off a sled on the show room it get me back on the snow, and that is priceless to me.

I don't know how it goes where your from but I can bring my sled to any dealer around for warranty! it just so happens the dealer that wanted the most also hade the worst rep around for warranty. sumtinwong with that!! but that doesn't mean I did not use that quote to help drive down the price. biz is just that biz if you are willing to pay what they ask they will take your money but you better know they are never at dealer cost... NEVER!!! they all make money off you and me... they made some cash off me just not an much as your dealer made off you. I knew the two dealers I was going to pick from... the two that hade good reps for taking care of their customers and I get treated on different than the ones that "snow checked" their sleds for thousands more. a good dealer is a good dealer and wont treat u any different just because u haggled on the price.. well once more just my 0.02 pay what want...drop them a feu extra grand they might treat u EXtra good :D rofl

Stay away from banks-they are for huge profits for their share holders. Go to your local credit union!!

Good lord, drink the credit union Kool-Aid much? Not every bank is your typical Wells Fargo, in fact I've received better rates from my local bank then I ever could at my credit union... maybe if Credit unions paid income tax on their interest revenue they'd be higher as well...

Have to throw my 2 cents in here, I have gotten better interest rates on savings accounts from banks around here than any credit union offers. When I last looked at loans it was a wash. Not sure why credit unions aren't as competitive as they used to be...

I just went through this a couple weeks ago. I could get $1000 off msrp with 0% for 60 months with a 2 year warranty or take the additional rebate with whatever interest you qualify for and have a 1 year warranty. I felt the same way you did so I started calling around and I got the same deals offered from 3 other dealers in my area. In the end I decided to support my local dealer. I probably could have gotten a better deal by waiting a little longer but I didn't want to miss out on riding time.

My Snowcheck was $1500 less than the OTD price i quoted earlier .. just took the Rebate and One year Warranty .. $12300.00 155 Assault ES.. but our state needs more entitlement fees of 6℅ so little more .. should have said it's for farm use . I do ride it on the farm

Yep... It was rebates with cash payment outright, or the 0% for 60 financing w/ an additional year warranty. So your basically paying $500 for warranty extension, and the financing company makes $500.

One way to look at it...

Also, along with the 0% and warranty, a select few (limited quantity) will be sent a Pieps jetforce av bag. I did buy one, but not holding my breath for the bag.

If you want warranty and potential for the free bag, the 0% was the way to go... No penalty for paying it off early either.

I sold my '12 thinking id take a year off... That lasted 4 days and i jumped on the deal, and all sorts of happy bout it! All that matters!
