Who makes them? I am looking for something for those clear, sunny, in the alpine above treeline, almost as bright as the sun, days.

What have you guys used?

I know 509 makes some pretty bad *** goggles but im not to sure how they are(never used them). But next season i'll be buying a pair of those black lens :face-icon-small-coo

Habervision has an optical orange lens that we recommend for bright light days. Polarization will also help out tremendously with the glare that bright light produces. Another thing that will help to darken up a lens is a flash coating. The flash coating is what makes it appear "mirror" like on the outside. Here is a picture of me with my rivas on. They are an optical orange lens with a blue flash.

my haber's first came w/ their polarized, greenish-yellow tint, flash lenses.
i cant imagine anything darker, keep in mind, only good for the conditions you are describing imo.

cool. Yah, I have lenses for most other riding conditions, I just need to find something darker then my sunglasses and darker then my current goggle setup. They are going to be used for spring riding only. Just super bright days.

Our smoke polarized is a great spring lens. This fall we will be releasing a matte black frame Sinister that comes standard with this smoke polarized lens, with a savings of about $15 over buying the goggles/lens separately.

spy makes a bronze/chrome tint lens that is super dark for those REALLY bright days. i love my spys. ski

Yo... Tom...

Will you have the Polarized lens' available for the Aviators next season?

What price on the lens?

=========================================
I also have a couple of pairs of Oakley Crowbar's and A-frames with Iridium lenses.. they work very well in the bright sun, but dont have the field of vision plus the lenses push the $75 mark ...painful when you scratch them up.

I'd put my Aviators head to head with these any day.

dang, mh, how big of a monitor are you using?

Good info here everyone. Thanks for the help!

Another great day...Blinding bright... not a cloud in the sky... 9500 ft... These goggles flat out work!

After trying just about every goggle out there I'll have a hard time buying anything but Haber from now on.....and throw the fog-eliminator in there and you'll rarely be changing out goggles....I went from 3 sets of goggles a ride to one....very impressive!

Paul... I have the Haber goggles too... they work VERY well...The new aviators work as good or better..

Tom at 509 has been working with Haber on their fan powerd fog elimiator for the line of 509's as well... It will be in my new pair of Aviators that I just ordered so that I have 2 to wear with different lens (bright and flat light) ready to go.

So if the smoke polarized lens works best in those super bright days what 509 lens works best on those flat light poor visibility days?

I'm really like the 509 yellow lens for flat light... very good contrast and clarity.

i have the haber with eliminator and the 509 aviator..it may be my helmet but im telling you that i found the 509s a rolls royce for comfort and the haber a pinto...but again it may be my helmet design..
