Cylinder o-ring tricks?

Alright, what is the trick to getting the o-rings back in place on the top of the cylinder? Naturally one popped out and for the life of me, I can't get it back in. I have tried the freezer trick, but no luck so far.

You can try putting just a dab of grease on them or just a touch of pematex in the groove. Sometimes they just get strecthed out too far and are too big and you need to breakdown and buy new ones.
