Cutler's 1300 Monster Cat Big Bore Kit

the kit is a straight forward bolt on top end with no case mods. I think if you could get it to run right it would be fun in the trees.

First run of them should be out any time now, testing for the first part of this season before the main production run. Should be really cool and a good option for guys. The 1200 kits are $2500, so why not go another $500 bucks and keep you stock cylinders, and head?

More info in about a month.

Are they going to be the Jaws twins off the 1000 or will they be totally different?

Also what kind of power are they expecting out of it?

should be around 250hp, which should run with a Tm7, but should have insane bottem end. It will also be a true 1300cc, not 1166(or whatever) the DnD 1200 is not a true 1200. Also being able to keep your stock cylinders is a great deal. I do believe there will be 2 versions of the 1300, a 1300 ported for turbo applications and a 1300 for non turbo. It will have bigger stronger wrist pins and offer much better cooling than anything else out there. Turbo or not, this will be a great setup.

then all we need to do is cut some cases appart weld em up and build a 3 cyl version of this beast! Probably need some steel cable for recoil rope!

I would spend the extra $500 any day for the 1300 and keep the stock top end. Have the stock top end for a spare or to return to stock when you sale. Or you could sell your stock top end for more then $500.
Sounds like alot of fun.

So, the next question.....will the 1000 motor fit in a M7 chassis without muchadu?

doing it right now reeb... should have it done in about a week.

lil fabbing but not too bad.

doing a 1000 with a 3071 in a 06 vanamburg chassis. turbo pipe will be next and then the 1200 stock cylinder or 1300 kit next year... we'll see.

i hear the turbo pipe ovs has really wakes em up.

Stock cylinders? So is it going to be bored out cylinders and/or a longer stroke? I don't know about anyone else, but as soon as you bore a "stock" cylinder, it is no longer stock. Just looking for more info, that's all.

you do not send your stock cylinders in to be bored with the 1300 kit. you "keep them".
Custom cylinders are included with the kit. So when you buy the 1300 kit it comes with cylinders, pistons, and head. You will still have your stock pistons, cylinders, and head.

Gotcha. I think this lack of snow is starting to effect my brain... and not in a good way.
