Not looking to start a brand loyalty war here boys
I'm just so proud of this pickup. I got it in April of 2008, drove it as my everyday/farm vehicle until last year, the second week of August when I got my '12. That's my 2006 Dodge Mega Cab 3500 pulling a 4 bottom plow through wheat ground. I've actually got a video but cant get it to upload to my computer.
It's got a Banks cold air intake, MBRP 4" dual exhaust, and a MADS Smarty Tuner, currently set on the 30hp tune, advanced timing, bumped injection pressure, and increased torque management (firmer, faster shifts). It still drives and pulls for the farm 3-4 days of the week for sure. Its got around 175,000 miles on it on the factory transmission (it is getting a little soft, though), and other than the power steering pump, some ball joints (lots of gravel road travel) and a couple u-joints, it's never had a major issue.
I plan on keeping this thing around forever, and making it a daily-driving hot-rod diesel. I hope to upgrade the transmission first, possibly even this winter yet. I'd like to switch to EFI Live tuning as well. After that, my dreams include some major things like head studs, and a compound turbo kit. Larger intercooler & plumbing, AirDog lift pump, Dragonfire CP3, larger injectors, and probably a larger big single exhaust.
threw the other pic in for kicks
