cummins: Fuel Additives

lost a injector pump in dec 07 on a 93 dodge 12 valve religiously running powerservice. I was told by the mechanic who put in new pump lucas fuel additive would work he recommended hayes or stadyne (sp?) I'm not always in a place that sells those and lucas is almost always available. I still run power service for cetaine boost in the winter. I have talked to old boys who have half a million on their 12 valves and have never added anything.

I run power service ULSD treatment. I run it year around but more for the anti gel cetane boost for the winter.

With the ULSD fuel containing less and less as we approch the next tier I think its important to run something.

I have a product that I use and also sell. It will increase your fuel mileage and lubricates your fuel pump, injectors and injector pump. Along with many other benefits. If interested PM me or you can call me at 435 225 6333, Travis.

Alot of people mix 2 stroke oil in,it really makes a difference in the pre common rail engines. Makes them quiet,I have ran it a few times.

Additive

Lubracation. I use tranny fluid. Keep injectors lubed for life.
Have you ever look a tranny hose that leaks tranny fluid. That hose is alway black not all dried out or cracked ?????
No brainer

big rigs been doing it for years. They know the old chinese secret. Another secret use your old diesel oil thats right...

I quart per tank 35 gallon 2005 ram

running tranny fluid as long as you arent doing any kind of hauling that the dot will stop you... if they look in the tank and see the red atf they assume youre running farm fuel in a road truck which equals very expensive fine...

I run Schaeffers (sp?) and seafoam, gained a couple mpg from it to

Personally, I dump some 2-stroke oil in my tank.

For each FULL tank, I put in about 16-24oz of 2-stroke oil.....

I use Powerservice all the time too, I notice my engine making more power with the additives.

Actually yes we can prove fuel mileage increase. I would like to talk to more about it to anyone who wants to save money on there fuel bill.

Unless you can show me a long term test using identical vehicles being operated on the same day, same place, in the same manner, with the same fuel, I'm calling bullchit.

And yes, I also sell lubricity additives, but I won't lie and tell anyone they'll gain economy. They can find that on their own.
