crossfire 136 to 151. possible?

would it be possible to take my 08 xfire 800 snopro and get or put 151 rails/ext on it with out extending the tunnel? to me it looks like it will it in there. might be close on the flap but can take that off. also i would go with a 151 suspension of some sort but would get a 153 powerclaw track. i know i need 3" pitch divers but if i had 8" wheels would that take up enough slack of the track with a 151 setup? also this would only be for out west riding not for at home riding.

No, you would need to extend the tunnel.

I'm in the process of converting the bosses kids 07 Crossfire to a 153 M rear skid.
They don't want to put a extension on. I'm making drop bracket to hold the m skid.

With the skid completely compressed, the track does not hit the cooler. but the flap will be a problem.

I would do the 09 153 tail section. It only adds a couple of inches of overall length to it and will look good with the stock skid.

I will snap some pics of this set-up today.

This is what it looks like with a 153 skid in a 07 Crossfire.
I put all this in to show them they needed a extension. Other than the flap we can not find a reason it won't work.
Will it work with a flap modification, probably.
Would I do this to a sled I was going to haul 1000 mile for a vacation, NO.

thats what i was thinking of. i want to do the 09 rear bumper to my sled anyway. friend of mine put a diff bumper on his 09 so he has a gas rack. so i got the bumper. what i was thinking was 151 with bigger wheels and use the 153 powerclaw and get 3" pitch drivers.

I can't offer any help there, This a complete 153 M skid and track I put in.
The M's use 8" wheels.

I used M series 153 rails and a 151" Polaris Series IV track on my 06 X-Fire. It worked great. As you can see in the post below, I did have to extend the tunnel about 5 1/2" for clearance.

Drivers, I believe that the PowrClaw is 3 pitch, Your drivers will be 2.52 Pitch.

from the pic above that got posted it was about an inch from the stock flap. my plan is to do the 09 rear bumper which includes - bumper, gussets, flap, light, tunnel end cap, and cooler. that should put the flap out a little more than the stock one and the cooler will be flatter. now im wondering if i find 151 suspension cheap if i can run the 153 power claw if i put bigger rear wheels on it. like the 8" or the 9" billet wheels.
