holy crap that could be a powerful picture,

like gimp said turn the combat helmet to a dirtbike style helmet.
Turn the gun into a shovel or probe with the wrist strap dangling under the helmet

make the combat fatigues into Kilm wear, or HMK..but obvious snowmobile gear

and last turn the flag background into a monster slide graphic between two mtn peaks

would really bring a tear to my eye if you had a widow in black shrouds holding a couple kids in the background on the left with heads bowed, and sleddar buddies on the right holding helmets over their hearts.


no catchy sologans needed for this pic, it speaks volumes all by itself...A slogan would detract from it.

I did a little editing. It is a job to get that far. Blown up it looks like it was done on fancy paper because there is a pattern on it. The loop on his backpackis a shovel handle so the rifle would have to be replaced with a probe. I'll do some digging on a helmet to crop in, mountains etc... I think I can edge them to match the picture. Changing his clothing color will be a challange also.

See what else I can do in my spare time, later

I found a setting background. Looks like a few days after a slide, with the slide behind you. If all else fails, can use the flat snow base and find another animated background. Need to flip it so the shadows are the right way to match the figure, also need to crop the figure and cross onto the background, get rid of the grass, edit the helmet, rifle, gear color etc....
Just takes time

lots of great ideas here. we WILL be doing something.

any printers on here. we're gonna need ideas on getting this done. I'll talk to my marketing dept today and start having my graphic artist do a thing or two.. in his spare time.

Someone should put on their gear, pose like the soldier and have a picture taken with their avy probe in the snow. Even if their helmet and gloves were laying in the snow next to them. A realistic cross could easily be found to crop into the background. Also crop said pic of the snowmobiler into that background.
I cropped the soldier onto the background and it does not look right with the realistic mountains in that background. Looks decent with the mountains removed above the flat snow line. I didn't even save the work because of it.
Someone needs to pose.

as far as I can tell, there are lots of POSERS here. shouldn't be hard to find one! lol

if ya find an avy to pose in fornt of..dig a hole and lay your sled init on its side so it looks buried from the camera angle with you well below it..that way if he crops in the whole thing it will show an avied hill in the background with a sled buried/and you up front praying at a grave....
