Cranking Compression on 07 800R??????

I don't know if I would trust the 47 thou plus or minus 16 thou. That is pretty damn sloppy. I would like to find out for sure some where else.
Bikeman posted up on dootalk that most doo 800r's are about 50-53 thou that he has checked.

did they reduce the comp ratio on the 07 800'Rs? my old 06 ptek was at about 140-150psi at 2200ft elevation!

yes the compression was dropped.

The R motor has lower compression than the Ptek. If I remember right 110-120 is pretty normal (depending on elevation). The 06 had the highest compression and it was around 140-150.
