CR tunnel instal on a nytro....any tips

What kind of black finish is on that CR tunnel? It doesn't look like a flat black finish.

Its Dupont wrinkle black powder coat...they built the whole tunnel and did it in one piece...rivots and all....

Gonna stick with the 16 wide mav....thought about trying something diff but nah...I was happy with the Maverick....spent the money on other things. Wait until you see my seat

Nice, Now thats a CR. And yes the other was a timbersled, should of read the post better. On the tracks have you looked at the Camo extreme? The maverick is softer and I heard negitive feedback.

I,ve been checking out your project in your other threads and it looks great.
I just wanted to check the finish.There was a guy on snowest last spring named ken_climb that had a flat black looking finish and Chad at CR said that it was crinkle black. It looked different and I want to make sure of the finishes.Thanks.

This is a dupont wrinkle black powder from what I have been told....not much sheen to it but it looks nice.

your finish looks like a lighter black almost gray color.Is it the lighting or is this accurate?

Heres some pics of how I did the routing for the coolant lines and where I put the bottle....I hope it will work....as you can see the hose off the front cooler I found a hose that worked to come thru lower instead of going up and over. Any where the hoses would touch or rub I slipped over some protective wrap and then heat shrunk the hose. The bottle is of a M cat I believe....what do you guys think?? Any thing I over looked?

I thought our sleds were 3 cylinders...looks like yours is a V8...under the intercooler.

Yup just a little oil just in case....

I put a 162" CR on my supercharged nytro last december. First ride out it kinked just behind the rear mounting plates for the Holz skid that I put in.
I pulled out the mounts and added some strength in that area,(made "fish plates" on the inside of the tunnel, haven't had any trouble since then.
