Well I'm about ready to rip into it....first thing I noticed is the piece under the fuel tank on the new tunnel isnt there...what you guys doing here...cutting the old piece out?? Second I assume most are removing the small radiator and fan assembly?? Any one got pics of the new plumbing or what to hook up where?? Any other tips?? thanks:)

Good Luck... No advice from me... looks like the CR TUnnel is the easiest to install. I believe they predrill all your holes.. From what i understand you remove the cooler under the tunnel and CAN remove the radiator.

I am almost done with a Timbersled tunnel.. There was no hole cut for a stock exhaust or rear mount turbo. I cut the hole as small as possible at first and then enlarged it a little at a time to fit the turbo

looking good, cant wait to see her run!!!

OK if we remove the rad...what are we doing for a cap and a place to add coolant??

You just cut the old portion out of the old tunnel. Just mark it out on the old tunnel and use a cut off wheel or metal shears to cut it out. You will need this section to mount the exhaust. You can use an overflow from an Apex, or I have had good luck with the Arctic Cat M8/M1000 coolant bottle. I like them the best because the opening is huge and the cap seals nicely. The plastic bottles always seem to warp where the cap goes on on the Apex style or the old M series style. The CR is a bit of a bugger for rerouting the coolang lines on the clutch side, but other than that seem smooth as butter for an install. The Nytro is actually the easiest tunnel swap I have ever done.

I also recommend using aircraft rivits for the mounting as this sucks the pieces together nicely and keeps the seams tight.

Ya gonna delete the rad plus I want to see what coolant bottle and where its mounted.....I tried a M1000 one but the outlets are to big.

If you just want an inline rad cap type fitting I used to use the ones off of a Mountain max or Viper I think it was. I deleted the rad bottle etc on my old SRX and that's what I think I used. Here's the Yamaha part number

I think Im gonna want a clear bottle to see whats going on plus keep things toped up....dont you agree?

The tunnel in that first picture looks to be a different type of tunnel. What brand is that. I have a CR tunnel and the back is separate and it has CR162 Lazer cut in the side. Also the foot wells are a lot different. Has it been redesigned since spring? See the following pics.
