Taking a new rider out for the first time. usually sled WC but was thinking easy ride at Cottonwood pass. Can anywhen give me a honest snow report?

It is just OK up on "the wood"... With that said there is enough coverage to show a 1st timer a good time.
Marshall Pass (only 25 miles from Cottonwood) got 30" in the past 2 days.
That is over 1" more for every extra mile you drive.. I am heading down that way this afternoon
