How many of you have seen these.

I had a guy show me one a couple weeks ago and I couldn't believe how simple it is.

You cut the top out of an alumin can bottle, "cottle", and turn it upside down, put that into the bottom of the can, put some port holes in it..crimp the tops down...and you have an ULTRA LIGHT camp stove that boils water in about 4 to 5 mins.

So I went to youtube and found these vids:

I have one that I have used for about 4 years now. Nothing better for weight or size.
However, if you do make one, just make sure that you use a stove that has a big enough reservoir so that it holds enough alcohol that you don't have to refill it multiple times to boil a pot of water. Building a wind shield is also a big benifit, since most of the pressures are not high enough to resist much wind.

So cutting the bottom tall enough.....good idea.

How long does it last? 10 mins?
