I've got a friend who is involved with a very large hunting lease in Costilla County Colorado. He and the folks who take care of it also have winter rights to the property. They would like to start granting snowmobile access.
Not being mountain riders they do not know if it would be good to ride in or not. I have never been there personally. He showed me a variety of pictures of the terrain and mountains. From what I see in the pictures the terrain looks very nice.
What I do not know is how much snow they get. Anyone on here ride near there or know anything about the snow cover? I've heard of people riding / skiing over by Silverton which seems to be about as far south.
