Corking your hand warmers

Yep, I belong on the short bus!!!!!! Should have read this first. New NXT LVL bars. Corked with hi temp warmers. Melted my new ODI grips on low. They were nice and toasty though. Been switching them on and off. I will have to switch to stock warmers eventually.

TIP: Use lube! Spit don't work! Soap/water?

I use rubbing alcohol as the lubricant as it evaporates and leaves it clean.

Yes, I have to switch between low and high because If I leave on high too long my hands almost burn. Nice upgrade.

OK, so if I run the Doo cork with the RSI heaters and the stock grips on the stock Protaper bars will I be too hot? (is there really such a thing).

I don't know much about the RSI heaters but stock heaters on high can be too hot for me at times. Low is a good heat for most riding if required.

I have RSI heaters and corked bars, they do get hot, I just turn them on low if I need to, much better than stock.
