Coolant out of weep hole, time for new mechanical seal?

2011 Rmk 800 leaking coolant from weep hole.
Was told I need a new mechanical seal.
Was also told this is a bugger to change out.

Any tips on making this easy?

They make a special tool to push the new one in that holds everything in line and helps you not damage the Carbon face of the seal. If you use a hammer and socket (or something less) you are asking for trouble, better buy a dozen seals, because the odds are against you being successful. Finesse is key; as the carbon face is pretty fragile and chips / cracks easily.
