We have been planning on going out tomorrow from MN and it sounds pretty set up and suppose to be in the 30's all week friends out there say we would have fun and to their standards it sucks. I know we all want fresh powder but is it like riding on dirt or is it going to be like the end of december when we were last out?

Spring time riding in the mtns is great, specialy when u can wear shorts in 7-12 ft of snow and get a sun tan , bring sun block!!!!

Just got back from West Yellowstone. Sleds get a little warm down low to lack of snow. Once you get up to 8000 feet it wasent too bad for spring stuff. You will love the XM on the less than powdery stuff. Its great.......practice practice practice......

I just got home on Sunday. Snow was decent. They had received 12 to 18 inches a few days before we got there so we did find some soft snow. It was cold while we were there. If you have nothing else to do and don't mind the drive, why not go?
