Converting my '06 to '09 need help

I have my '06 600 turbo stripped down to the bulkhead and was wondering if anyone has installed the new Raw chassie steering hoop and plastics to there older IQ style. I see tons of weight loss potential by removing all of this and a nice clean look. I have looked it over and dont see any problems but my greatest concern is the raw style steering post going to connect to the rest of the old style steering system? If anyone has any ideas or coments i would apriciate it. thanks.

Not going to say it cant be done, but it will be a ton of work. The footrests are totally different. The bellcrank at the botton of the steering post is different. The plastic is not a issue but almost everything else is.

So it would be easier to just do the rider select deleate and '09 plastics then...

Yeah for sure. Not sure you would save much weight with the steering hoop and post. IMO its not worth the effort.

yeah. Can you make the Fire 'n Ice stirrup vents work on the older style iq? really want a set for cooling for my turb and the look awesome.
