Hi Guys, have a quick question... I currently use Firefox and seem to have alot more adware crap on my pc then when I used IE. When using IE, the only time I had this crap was when surfing the ;)good stuff:eek:. Now I have it when surfing SW or my local online paper, ect... Am I missing plugins or something? Please help, as I am on the verge of going back to IE:eek:

.. Never used Firefox,, cuz I ain't never had a problem with I.E. I'm not saying anything's wrong with firefox,, but I don't fix what don't need fixing.;)

Try using IE and see if you get the same pop-up from the same sites with it.. Might not be browser related..

That's the thing, I don't.... That's why I was wondering if there are some plug-ins I am missing.

I do get rid of them and they come back... The weird thing is, I have do my daily browsing with IE I don't have them, when using FF, they keep coming back. Even after they have been wiped. I have spybot, adaware, and trend virus.

Guess I'll have to go back to IE... I also notice more popups with FF then I use to get with IE... Have the blocker on.

Just wondered if I was missing a plug-in or something...

Any other suggestions, or am I hopelessly lost on this?

Try going on to Trend Micro's website and running a housecall it will take a couple of hours to run but it is worth it.. also are all of your updates done..

I use Firefox almost exclusively. Except for my MS Partner pages and such. No popups. You have something borked or something still on your PC...
